BAGHDAD (AFP) - A suicide bomber killed three Shiite militiamen in the Iraqi city of Samarra in the first such attack in the heavily defended pilgrimage centre in months, medical and security sources said Tuesday.
Another 13 people were wounded in the Monday evening attack on a checkpoint outside a school in the city centre that the militiamen were using as a barracks, the sources said.
